Press Release: ECUHero Announces New VISION Scholarship in Honor of Late Greg Deeds.

The Greg Deeds Memorial Scholarship is presented by ECUHero, and brings VISION to six total scholarship opportunities for eligible individuals.

Gladstone, Mo., December 19, 2023 –  VISION Hi-Tech Training & Expo has partnered with ECUHero, a cutting edge automotive software company, to provide a scholarship to a qualifying individual to honor the life of Greg Deeds, owner of Cave Springs Conoco located in St. Peters, Missouri, who passed away October 20, 2023. The “Greg Deeds Memorial Scholarship” awards the recipient with a VISION 4 Day Power Pass and hotel accommodation and is open to first-time attendees interested in attending the VISION conference in Kansas City to develop their skills further and knowledge within the automotive service industry. Interested parties will need to apply for the Greg Deeds Memorial Scholarship before January 12, 2024.

“Greg was a Shop Owner, Technician, Father and Grandfather who was dedicated to providing his customers with the best service possible,” stated JK Walker, co-owner of ECUHero. “He was always seeking to sharpen his skillset by attending training events to stay up to date on the latest technology. In his 30 year career as a technician, he mentored many young technicians to help further their careers in the industry. Greg was always going out of his way to help the people he knew and cared for. ECUHero wishes to honor Greg’s legacy and his passion for training events with a VISION 4 Day Power Pass and hotel accommodation to a qualifying individual. “

The Greg Deeds Memorial Scholarship is established in honor of Greg and his forever learning passion. ECUHero wanted to establish the scholarship in Greg’s name to continue his legacy and instill the same lifelong learning spirit to a deserving individual. They have created the “DO GOOD DEEDS” Fund where a portion of their proceeds will be allocated to providing scholarships, assisting technicians in need, and helping those within the automotive service industry.

The Greg Deeds Memorial Scholarship is now open for applications with a deadline of January 12, 2024. The recipient of the memorial scholarship will be given a VISION 4 Day Power Pass along with hotel accommodation for the VISION 2024 conference.
