Kansas City, MO – July 30, 2025 – VISION Hi-Tech Training & Expo, one of the nation’s premier automotive training events, has teamed up with Promotive to launch a nationwide campaign aimed at spotlighting the passion and purpose behind today’s automotive professionals. The #BehindTheToolbox movement invites automotive service professionals across the industry to share a short video explaining why they entered—and why they stay in—the automotive field.
For every eligible video submitted, Promotive will donate $50 to the VISION Scholarship Fund, which provides future technicians with access to top-tier education and hands-on training at the VISION conference.
“We know how powerful personal stories can be,” said Sheri Hamilton, VISION Conference Manager. “By showing what drives the people behind the tools, we hope to inspire others to see a future for themselves in this industry—and make it more accessible through scholarship funding.”
How to Participate:
- Record a short video (1–2 minutes) sharing why you’re in the industry or what inspires you to keep going.
- Visit visionkc.com/behindthetoolbox to upload your video and officially join the movement.
- Tag and challenge others in your network to keep the momentum going.
- Deadline to submit is August 21, 2025 to be considered for Promotive donations and to be entered for the raffle.
