Four Students Receive Technicians of Tomorrow Scholarships at VISION 2026

Gladstone, MO – March 30, 2026 – The Midwest Auto Care Alliance (MWACA) and its Technicians of Tomorrow Educational Foundation (TTEF) proudly awarded four $1,000 scholarships to outstanding students pursuing careers in the automotive service industry during the 2026 VISION Hi-Tech Training & Expo. These scholarships recognize the dedication, passion, and drive of the next generation of automotive professionals while helping support their continued education and career development.

This year’s scholarship recipients include:

  • Caidn Williams – A student from Alburnett High School in Alburnett, Iowa, Caidn embodies the determination behind the Technicians of Tomorrow Automotive Student Scholarship. Through dual enrollment, completion of Automotive and Welding Academies, hands-on engine rebuilds, and real-world shop experience, Caidn has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to learning and craftsmanship. With a passion for performance and a long-term goal of working on an IMSA endurance team, Caidn is already accelerating toward a promising future in the automotive industry.
  • Morgan Liggett – A student at Flint Hills Technical College in Allen, Kansas, Morgan has shown a strong commitment to learning and professional growth from an early age. Beginning in a dual-credit program while in high school and now completing an associate’s degree in automotive technology, Morgan plans to continue pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the field. With proven leadership experience and a passion for hands-on work, Morgan is a deserving recipient of the Technicians of Tomorrow Automotive Student Scholarship.
  • Nicole Pasterski – Studying at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana, Nicole is receiving this scholarship for the second consecutive year. By combining hands-on shop experience with focused education in automotive technology and business, she is building a strong foundation for long-term success. Nicole’s dedication to continued growth and leadership makes her a standout representative of the next generation of automotive professionals.
  • Jadyn Friesen – A student from Sutton High School in Sutton, Nebraska, Jadyn is building an impressive future through hands-on motorsports experience and advanced training in the GM ASEP program. Although he was unable to attend VISION this year, MWACA and TTEF are proud to recognize him as a 2026 Technicians of Tomorrow Automotive Student Scholarship recipient.

The Technicians of Tomorrow Educational Foundation (TTEF) was established to provide financial support to students entering the automotive industry, helping address the growing technician shortage. As automotive technology continues to evolve, the demand for skilled professionals remains critical. Through programs like TTEF, MWACA is investing in the future workforce and supporting students who are committed to building careers in the automotive service industry.
